  I do not recommend coming to this place unless you want to be scammed for your money and lied to. I took my dog in to be neutered and left with some concerns. I only wanted the best for my dog so I paid for an iv fluids during and after the surgery, blood test, pain injection, pain meds to go, and antibiotics. Now.. In order to properly place an iv in a human you need to SEE and feel the vein clearly. This process is difficult, sometimes drs need to use special machines to find a vein in humans. Now tell me how would you find a vein in a fluffy Pomeranian? Of course shaving him, which was expected. Yet my dog Richi came home with all legs full and fluffy. Which leads me to believe they do not do things properly at this animal hospital. Even if the Dr did an iv without shaving you don't go poking an animal guessing you hit the vein hoping for a flash back. I'm highly upset and I am waiting for the Dr to call me back with some excuse. I just want my money back. An associates first excuse (after willingly admitting the process would need to be shaved for fluids) was its only done d for emergencies. Her second excuse was he wasn't hospitalized over night, it was a short time, and he didn't need to be shaved. Yet he was there from 8-5.. without the fluids that I paid for! I called other clinics and asked about this situation and they all vocalized how this is concerning. Not only is it to view the vein, shaving needs to be done for sanitary reasons! I will be taking my services to another clinic to remove his stitches free of charge. Unlike Stone Park Animal Hospital, where they charge you $20 for the removal. Make sure you go to a Vet that treats animals just as good as they would if you were the pt. Please do your research, watch videos on the process and educate yourself.
